We are delighted to announce that friend of Orbana, Tom Payn, this past weekend convincingly won the annual Extreme Ultrmarathon Ring O’ Fire 131 mile coastal marathon circumnavigating the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, by an astonishing 3 hours!!

The epic foot race was staged over three consecutive days (30 August 2013 – 1 September 2013) and followed the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path around the island. The extreme distance and variable terrain places Ring O’ Fire as one of the most extreme ultra marathons in the United Kingdom.

Here’s what Tom had to say about Orbana

“Taking on my first multi day ultra-marathon I needed to be sure that I had a drink I could trust, I needed something that not only would get me through the event but would keep me energised and hydrated for up to 11 hours of constant running. Orbana not only did this, it helped me to win the Ring O’ Fire, one of the toughest ultra-marathon races in the UK by three hours!!”

If you think you’ve got what it takes to enter into next years competition, you can! They are already taking entries for 2013 at www.ringoffire.co.uk
