Michael Puplampu: Olympic Prospect #5 – Triple Jump

Michael Puplampu is a young triple jumper currently training hard to take a spot on Team GB for London 2012.

Currently competing for Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow, Michael ended 2011 as the British Universities Silver medallist and Senior Aviva European Trials and UK Championships Bronze medallist.

He has already set a PB at the start of 2012 – so things are looking good in Olympic year!

Michael has been training with Orbana in 2012 and had this to say:

“I have used Orbana’s ‘Healthy Energy’ on a daily basis for 3 weeks of training sessions now. The sessions ranged from intense hills sessions, speed endurance sessions, explosive plyometrics and weight training.

“My levels of fitness are reasonably high however, once I started using Orbana products I was able to keep and maintain the standard of performance through to the last couple of reps or sets of any given session without having to ‘dig in’ as deep.

“The most impressive effect that I got from this product was the lack of cramp I had after each of the sessions. I usually suffer from cramp after an intense session during the warm-down phase.
This usually prevents me from warming down as effectively as possible because it is usually interrupted or completely postponed due to the cramp I tend to suffer from. Whilst using Orbana product, this was something I no longer had to worry about.”
